With Fishman Public relations
Since March of 2023, I’ve worked as PR Account Executive and was promoted to an Account Supervisor at the No. 1 franchise development PR firm in the nation – Fishman Public Relations. I’ve worked on behalf of over 15 clients, developing strategy and PR plans for both franchise development and consumer initiatives, writing press releases, pitching the media, leading teams, and coordinating local and national media opportunities for all of my clients. Below are some of my favorite works so far:
IV therapy craze has Americans pumping vitamins into their veins: Results are ‘pretty dramatic’ (For Prime IV)

Many Prime IV patients have sought out drip therapy to overcome addiction using supplements like NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), Neary said.
Originally developed for opiate and alcohol addiction, NAD can help enable different biochemical processes, like energy production, sleep, detoxification and nerve function, Neary explained.

with club champion
From late 2020 until February 2023, I was on the PR and Marketing team with the nation’s No. 1 custom golf club fitter and builder – Club Champion. I was hired to assist a growing company grow even further both within and beyond its American borders and I did just that with the assistance of an amazing digital marketing team. Just like any PR job, I wrote press releases, pitched stories, and worked with reporters from around the globe to help get the word out about Club Champion.
In 2021 alone, we garnered over 1 billion media impressions with even more in 2022. Here are a few of the best stories I pitched and procured as the company’s PR guy:
Toronto golf club fitting firm TXG tees up a deal with Chicago’s Club Champion

“Fraser says Club Champion, founded in 2010 by Joe Lee and Keith Bank alongside master fitter Nick Sherburne, was attractive as a partner because of its “unparalleled success” when it came to growth. Club Champion will have 95 stores open across the U.S. by the end of the first quarter in 2022 and employs more than 220 people.”
Tale of the long ball: How a driver fitting session helped one intrepid golfer gain 24 yards

“Boastful? Nah, just the facts. Alex appreciates what the new driver can do for him. ‘I think the lighter shaft and maybe the [shaft] puring process allow me to square it up more consistently. Plus, there’s a bit of extra speed across different points on the clubface and the head seems to be more forgiving,’ he said.”
BREAKING: Club Champion Breaks Into 5 More Markets

“With studios now open in Torrance, CA; Wilmington, NC; Pleasanton, CA; Mandeville, LA; and Ashburn, VA, Club Champion is primed to hit over 115 domestic and international locations by the end of the year. There are now fitting studios in 42 U.S. states and partnered locations in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.”
WitH the chicago white sox
Despite a year stricken with COVID-19, I gained plenty of valuable experience working a dream opportunity. Between January 2020 – October 2020, I was a Public Relations Associate for the Chicago White Sox. Given the global pandemic occurred near the start of my employment period, I had the opportunity to work as a professional PR associate pre- and midst-pandemic, maximizing my skills for communicating on behalf of an organization through a unique baseball season and the world’s current crisis. I had my hand in a lot of projects with the Sox, so below I will list the most significant works to me.
Inside the White Sox Blogs & White Sox Magazine Articles
Throughout 2020, I was the prime contributor to the Inside the White Sox blog and had the chance to write plenty of interesting White Sox history articles, as well as update fans on happenings in the community, online and at home. I also got to work directly with editors at Sports Illustrated to write a full-feature on Tim Anderson’s SI cover appearance and how it joins a long line of White Sox cover features in SI history. Here is that blog and some more of my favorites:
Tim Anderson becomes 24th White Sox Player on Sports Illustrated Cover

“Following his Major League batting crown in 2019, White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson begins the 2020 campaign gracing the Spring 2020 Baseball Preview issue of Sports Illustrated. TA7 will be the 24th White Sox feature on a storied Sports Illustrated cover, so let’s look back at the elite company Anderson’s joining in both White Sox and SI history.”
Celebrating Virtual Jackie Robinson Day

“Each season, we take a moment to reflect on the legacy of Jackie Robinson and his lasting mark on the game. While we can’t be together to celebrate Robinson, Inside the White Sox is taking a trip down memory lane to spotlight four White Sox players who helped pave the way for others.”
Michael Jordan, the Chicago White Sox Right Fielder

“Before ‘The Last Dance,’ Air Jordan laced up baseball cleats instead of sneakers.“
The most consistent writing I did for the blog when I wasn’t writing features was for the Heroes Beyond the Diamond series, a series focusing on the frontline heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Highlights of the Homestand series, blogs focusing on fan activities during White Sox home stands.
Below are my White Sox Magazine features and contributions:
White Sox Magazine 2020 Ed. 1: Faces of ACE Feature by Danny Stewart (Pg. 127)

“Pulling Chicago youth away from the dangers of inner-city life, The White Sox Amateur City Elite (ACE) program provides young players with the skills and opportunities to succeed both on the diamond and in life. Since its inception in 2007, the program has helped more than 200 athletes receive college scholarships, with 24 athletes selected in the major-league draft. ACE includes programs at the 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U levels.“
White Sox Magazine 2020 Ed. 2: Back the Bullpen by Danny Stewart (Pg. 18)

“After the experienced arms of pitchers Dallas Keuchel and Gio González were added to the roster this offseason, the new look bullpen has shined just as brightly as the starting rotation in White Sox wins. With playoff aspirations becoming more than a possibility for the White Sox in this 60-game season, it’s time to back the bullpen.“
White Sox Magazine 2020 Ed. 2: Faces of ACE by Danny Stewart (Pg. 131)

“This ACE team embodies the perfect balance of competitiveness and fun. Since this group of players have grown up together as a team, its chemistry is what makes this team so special.“
White Sox Magazine 2020 Ed. 2: Celebrating the Legacy of Tom Seaver (Pg. 153)

“Baseball recently lost an icon and arguably one of the greatest pitchers to ever step foot on the mound. The White Sox honor the incredible career and life of Tom ‘Terrific’ Seaver, who passed away on August 31 at the age of 75.“
Press Releases & Media Advisories
Alongside planning virtual and in-person events, pitching those events to local and national media, as well as actively coordinating media at the events, I’ wrote many’ve written countless press releases and media advisories on behalf of numerous clients and companies including Club Champion and the Chicago White Sox. Please contact me if you’d like any press release examples.
Media publicity tracking
After planning, pitching and coordinating media-worthy events, I helped procure the media clips from radio, TV, online news and social media sources into focused reports that detailed the audience of our events as well as the estimated publicity value. Below is just one example from over 200 reports created across all of my jobs since January 2020, I chose it because it had historical significance.

Critical Mention report for White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito’s no-hitter coverage in the Chicagoland area.
